Where is Helly 2021 being held?

Helly 2021 is being held at Sandown Airport, on the Isle of Wight

How old can i be to come to Helly?

Due to licensing we are an over 18's event only

Will tickets be available on the day?
We expect to sell out of weekend and day tickets in advance. This means that tickets won’t be available on site and non-ticket holders will be turned away.

Are pets allowed?
Unfortunately not. No animals (other than assistance dogs) are allowed anywhere on site, including the car parks.

Can I bring my own food and drink?
No glass bottles are permitted anywhere, there are no restrictions on food and drink in the campsites.Food and drink will not be permitted in the venue.

Can I bring my car on to the campsite?
No, cars have to be left on the car parking field next to the campsite for safety reasons.

What size tent can I bring?
Any domestic tent up to 12 person is permitted on the campsite

Can I bring a BBQ?
Used responsibly, disposable and small portable gas BBQs are allowed on site. No open fires (including fire baskets/bowls) are permitted.

Will there be plenty of toilets?
Yes, we have toilets in the venue and campsites.

Can I get a list of who is playing when?
Stage times will be updated on the website and on social media in the week leading up to the event. Each guest will also get a free souvenir programme on arrival at the site with timings on for all entertainment.

What time does it finish?
Live music finish at 11.00pm each night. We will have DJ/Entertainment in the venue until 2am each night except Sunday which will be 1am.  

Can I get a refund on my ticket(s)?
Unfortunately no refunds are available on any ticket purchases.

What are the disabled facilities?
The site is relatively flat. As with all green field sites, if it rains then areas of heavy footfall will become muddy. Disabled toilets will be available around the site.

There is a dedicated accessible camping and parking area for blue badge holders only by the venue entrance, stewards will direct you on the day.

Are there any cash machines on site?
No. The nearest cash machines are at Morrissons, Lake, approximately 1/2 mile from the venue.

Terms and Conditions



All conditions herein are to be read together with all other statements and or directives either shown on the ticket or displayed on the premises. In the event of a breach of this contract by the supplier, the supplier shall not be liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense arising out of the breach which was not reasonably foreseeable by the supplier at the date of this contract.

The promoter reserves the right to refuse admission to the holder if in the reasonable opinion of the promoter or their representatives; admission of the holder might be a risk to the safety of the audience and/or the holder and/or affect the enjoyment of the audience and/or the running of the event. All persons entering the event site may be searched as a condition of entry. Strictly no illegal substances will be permitted into the site. Possession of either may lead to your ejection from the event.

The event is for over 18s only

Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated in any area of the event site.

Campsites open at 12pm on Thursday 8th July 2021.

Camping is permitted only in the official campsites with a weekend camping ticket. Do not camp within the fire lanes marked on the ground, your tent will be removed if you do so.

Day tickets do not include camping or access to the campsites at any point.

Under no circumstances will duplicate tickets be issued for lost tickets etc, keep your ticket safe.

Attendees consent to the photography, filming/sound recording as members of the audience, which may be used for promotional or commercial activities.

You may not re-sell or transfer this ticket if you are selling or transferring the ticket in the course of business. You are deemed to be selling or transferring in the course of business where we reasonably believe you to be doing so.

No tickets may be used for competitions or promotions without written permission from Wihtwara Events.

No sleeping in vehicles or tents is allowed in car parks due to fire regulations.

No alcohol is permitted to be taken into the venue and the only containers permitted shall carry non-alcoholic liquid in collapsible plastic or similar material containers of not more than 500ml.

Private sound systems, illegal substances, glass, fireworks or any other items which the organisers deem unsuitable or inappropriate will not be permitted into the event site.

Please respect the fields and use the bins provided, fires are not permitted in any area and will be extinguished.

There is accessible camping and parking for blue badge holders ONLY in the DDA campsite close to the venue entrance. Accessible camping is also available on a first come, first served basis.

Lighting will be provided around the main toilet block(s) and in and around the venue. We recommend everyone brings a torch to help you get around at areas of the site at night.

The campsite is on a green field site which can get muddy during and after wet weather. Please bring appropriate footwear, take care when walking around all areas of the site and bring a torch to help you safely around the site at night.

Showers are provided in the campsite free of charge subject to sufficient water availability. If the supply is limited then drinking water will take priority and showers will be closed for as long as necessary.

No animals will be admitted to the site other than registered assistance dogs.

All access points to all the camping areas will be stewarded 24 hours a day. Anyone without a weekend wristband will not be allowed to enter at any point during the weekend

Strictly no trading is allowed inside the festival site without written permission from Wihtwara Events.

No audio or video recorders, professional photographic equipment or laser pens will be permitted to the site.

Whilst every effort is made to ensure the full, advertised bill performs the ticket is for an event and not a specific artiste/band. Wihtwara Events reserves the right to change the bill or running times without prior notice.

All vehicles must be cleared of the site by 12pm on Monday 12th July 2021.

It is against the law to smoke in enclosed spaces, please observe the signage around the venue.

The organisers reserve the right to implement any restrictions/conditions deemed necessary before and during the event to ensure the safe management of the site.

Amplified sound and strobe lighting will be used at this event.

The promoters reserve the right to amend the terms and conditions of entry into the Helly in accordance with any new laws, legislation or internal company policies.
